We were asked to bring a customers out dated fuse board up to date and remove all traces of rubber wiring within the property.

We installed a MK split load board to handle the distribution and re wired with PVC any circuits that were still fed with rubber cable.

Incoming tails

What makes you assume we hadn't?!

Our initial site survey showed a load that was well within the rated amount for the current tails and fuse. We were not increasing the load on any circuit in fact we replaced many 50w and 100w lamps for Halers 7w LED down lights, significantly reducing the load.

As you can see in the pic, the customer already had a power monitor and was actively controlling his consumption. The supplied tails are 16mm rated at 87amps and capable of handling 20kw,

We left details of UK Power Network for the customers reference.

Hope that answers your question?
