i have ceiling lights in the hall and 1 in the dining room and 1 in the living room and 2 in the kichen all were working i changed the living room and dining room ceiling lights for new ones and put the wires in the same way place in the new lights as they were in the new lghts i went to turn the new lights on and all the lights exsept the 1 kichen light will not come on there is only one switch on the circuit box that turns the full downstares lights off
please help with any ideas why this has happend.

1 comment postedI would say if you were competent enough then check all the connections are terminated correctly. Make sure the electricity is safely isolated first.
If they all look ok then I would get a competent electrician in to sort it out, as it sounds like wires might have got mixed up. Domestic lighting often causes confusion if you don't know what you are looking at. It is not straight forward to the un-trained person.
